Simple design is often the most attractive. Modern design and manufacturing company, Salamander Designs, just released their new audio/video entertainment cabinet, the Madrid 5028—the second of their Madrid style series. The cabinet carries clean, sleek lines and comes fully assembled in a minimalist, yet practical design that provides spacious area for high-end electronic components. Its 50-inch double-wide construction has room for up to five components (or three components and center channel speaker). It features a pull-out drawer to store CDs and DVDs, adjustable shelf, ventilation, and raceways for concealing and managing wires.

The Madrid 5028 uses solid hardwood and veneers, as well as a sliding wood frame door with bronze-tone glass that is compatible with IR and RF remotes. A flip-down door with black chrome retractable cabinet pulls, located below the drawer, is suitable for gaming equipment and accessories or extra storage.

The cabinet runs at a suggested retail price of $1,299, and it comes in two different finishes: Natural Cherry or Espresso Oak. (salamanderdesigns.com)
