In case you weren’t already aware, Audio Design Associates (ADA) has decided to extend their lucrative KYW (Keep Your Wire) program, also known as the 50/500 Multi-Room Trade-In & Upgrade program, into 2010. For those who own outdated multi-room systems, ADA is extending this offer to upgrade systems by giving away $50 credit for each legacy keypad, and $500 credit for every six to eight zone mainframe that is turned in. End users are able to keep their own wire, as ADA currently works with all legacy wiring schemes.
This program began as a way to keep dealers busy. As Richard Stoerger, VP & COO of ADA puts it, “Interesting times present interesting opportunities.” With this program, customers are presented an incentive that is less expensive, while dealers are benefiting off of new work. This type of job is also much quicker, as the upgrade simply involves swapping out the mainframe and controls, which depending on the size of the job, only involves a few days of labor. With the Suite 4000 and Suite 8000, ADA has receivers that offer solutions starting under $5000 with tuners, amplifications, and touch screens.
